Assignment Description
We are currently looking for a Software Lead to join a leading company within the MedTech sector.
What You Will Work On
Lead and manage a software development team (developers and test engineers)
Plan, drive, and deliver end-to-end software projects
Define and guide system architecture and technical decisions
Manage backlog, sprint planning, and agile execution processes
Ensure high-quality standards in development, testing, and delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams and external stakeholders
Support team growth through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Drive continuous improvements in development processes and workflows

What You Bring
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience leading software development within Life Science or MedTech environments
Background as a software developer, with additional experience in roles such as Product Owner or Technical Lead
Experience managing teams of 5–10 engineers
Strong leadership skills including coaching, goal setting, resource planning, and hiring
Proficiency in Python
Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous architectures
Experience managing complex software development projects
Familiarity with version control, documentation, and quality assurance practices
